Michael Wechner

Michael studied mathematical physics at ETH and did computer simulations of dendritic growth at the Max-Plack-Institute. He co-founded the software development company Wyona in 2000 and is the original creator of various Open Source projects like for example Apache Lenya, whereas in 2004 he became an Apache Member. At this time Michael started Wyona Pictures, because he loves stories and movies and directed his first documentary 'FUD - Fear Uncertainty Doubt' about people involved in Open Source and the fundamental questions of collaboration within Open Source communities.
